Centrifuge tubes
Heger offer a wide range of precision-made, high-strength centrifuge tubes made to fit exactly in rotor cavities.
The tubes vary in capacity from 50 ml down to much smaller capacities used in microcentrifuges used extensively in molecular biology laboratories. Microcentrifuges typically accommodate disposable plastic microcentrifuge tubes with capacities from 250 μL to 2.0 mL.
Plastic centrifuge tubes are less expensive than glass and can be just as durable. Usually the tubes are inexpensive enough to be considered disposable.
Disposable "microlitre tubes" of 0.5ml to 2ml are commonly used in microcentrifuges. They are molded from a flexible transparent plastic similar to polythene, are semi-conical in shape, with integral, hinged sealing caps.

Micro centrifuge tubes
These 0.6 ml and 1.5 ml robust micro centrifuge tubes are made of polypropylene and are suitable to withstand the rigors of high-speed centrifugation up to 20,000 g.
The pipes are manufactured in one piece, which gives a snug fit and enables the cap is secured reliably even with prolonged boiling.
For maximum sample recovery is the pipe inside polished. The bottom is reinforced for extra protection against leakage.

Micro centrifuge tubes with safety lid
Microcentrifuge tubes with safety lid. Made of polypropylene. The tubes have a special locking system ensuring storage. This will help to prevent pipes opened during centrifugation, cooking, storing, freezing and shipment.
